Payment Nepal (Gateway Payment Service) and Global IME Bank have agreed to provide QR services to consumers in Nepal and India.
Customers may purchase items in India using QR using a variety of mobile payment platforms, including BharatPay, Pythom, and Google Play, according to the deal. Ratna Raj Bajracharya, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank, and Rajesh Prasad Manandhar, Chief Executive Officer of Payment Nepal, have signed the agreement.
The bank has claimed that once the service is operational, cross-border (cross-border)
payments between Nepal and India will be available.
