Chinese Foreign Minister arriving in Nepal today

Kathmandu, March 25

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is arriving in Nepal on Friday.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang, who is also a State Councilor, is visiting Kathmandu from March 25 to 27 at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart, Dr. Narayan Khadka.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all preparations for the visit have been completed.

Foreign Minister Wang will be welcomed at the airport by a team including Foreign Secretary Bharatraj Poudyal.

While in Nepal, he will meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur
Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal
‘Prachanda’.

On Saturday, he will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Narayan Khadka.
Foreign Minister Wang will return from Nepal on Sunday.
