Kathmandu, March 21
The main opposition CPN-UML is holding a politburo meeting today.
The meeting will be held at Karki Banquet in Babarmahal at 11 a.m., according to Bishnu Rijal, deputy chief of the publicity department.
The meeting will discuss the current political situation as well as the party’s manifesto for the local elections and the criteria for selecting candidates.
The local level election has been scheduled for May 13.
There are a total of 99 members including 19 office-bearers and 26 standing committee
members.
