The likelihood of discussions between the two nations’ presidents to settle the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine has grown. Russian President Vladimir Putin has laid out some of his fundamentals for settling the Ukraine conflict through Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated he may undertake direct discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over a half-hour phone chat.

Putin’s key demands are for Ukraine to stay neutral and not be allowed to join NATO.

This has already been confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Russia has also requested that Ukraine disarm. In Ukraine, the key challenges are the protection of the Russian language and the necessity to stop the Naziization of the Russian language.

This is something that Zelensky is concerned about. Zelensky is Jewish, and members of his family were killed in the tragedy.
