Kathmandu, March 11
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the construction firms to be ready for the tender of the MCC project.
“The government has already ratified the compact, and an international public tender will be announced soon,” Prime Minister Deuba stated.
“As the United States of America and Nepal both are involved in the compact, contractors from the countries will be invited to bid for the project,” PM Deuba said.
The government recently ratified the compact with an interpretive declaration, despite
widespread public outcry and political differences.
