Kathmandu, March 9
A worldwide language and vocational skills development center has been developed at Midwestern University. The center was established by the university with the goal of learning several languages and imparting practical skills.
According to the university, the center was established to teach the six primary UN languages, which are among the world’s most sought-after and civilized languages. Associate Professor Chitra Bahadur KC, the Center’s Executive Director, indicated that in addition to UN languages, German, Japanese, Korean, and Latin, as well as Greek, Sanskrit, and other world civilization languages, will be studied.
Prof Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University, formally opened the facility at Birendranagar Municipality-8 Khajura today. In his remarks at the opening ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Singh stated that, in addition to traditional academic activities, the institution has placed a strong emphasis on teaching language and skills at a global level.
According to Executive Director KC, applications for the operation of the Korean language will be accepted beginning Wednesday, and the Korean language class will begin on March 30.
