Today is Mahashivaratri, people across the country worship Lord Shiva.
Shiva temples are crowded with Hindu devotees who perform a special puja in honor of Lord Shiva.
Since early this morning, devotees have gathered at Kathmandu’s Pashupati Temple. On the occasion of Mahashivaratri today, all four major entrances have been kept open in front of devotees from 4 am.
Sadhus have arrived at Pashupatinath Temple from all around Nepal and India. They receive money and alms from the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT).
