Following the ratification of the US grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Bahadur
Singh Mahara, Chairman of Shuklaphanta municipality-8, Kanchanpur, has decided to resign from his post and leave the party.
In a Facebook message, the CPN (Maoist Center) youth leader begged pardon and announced his resignation from his post.
He said that he will resign as chairman of the party that betrayed the country by holding a
program at 10 am on Monday.
