Kathmandu, February 25
The CPN-UML has registered as a political party with the Election Commission for local
elections.
On Friday, a team led by the party’s General Secretary, Shankar Pokharel, arrived at the Election Commission to register the party.
Following the party registration, Pokharel stated that the major parties should reach an
agreement.
He said that the UML was preparing for the election as the date of the election had already
been announced.
