Meeting of the ruling coalition begins

Kathmandu, February 20

A coalition meeting has begun to discuss the US aid project MCC. The meeting started some time ago at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

Leaders include Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of the Maoist Center Prachanda, Chairman of the CPN-Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Chairman of the JSP Upendra Yadav are participating in the meeting.

Before the coalition meeting, Prime Minister Deuba had internal discussions with leaders close to him.

The Prime Minister plans to table the MCC in the parliament today if the alliance is agreed
upon.
