Kathmandu, February 20
For the fiscal year 2079/80, the government has begun to compile a list of unemployed people.
The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security has published a notice requesting the names of persons who are employed through the Prime Minister’s Employment Program.
Unemployed people who match the requirements can apply for registration at a local employment information center.
In the ensuing fiscal year, the person who is listed during the month of February will get a
minimum of 100 days of labor in projects under the employment program.
According to the program, unemployed people between the ages of 18 and 59 who have been out of work for at least 100 days in the current fiscal year are eligible to apply.
