Two people were caught in Bara carrying narcotics

Kathmandu, February 17

Two people were caught in Bara, along with illegal drugs. Anupan Lama, 31, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-10, and Vijay Shrestha, 31, of Ward number-13, have been arrested by police.

On Wednesday night, police said they were apprehended carrying drugs from the inner road area of Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 22 Thanimai. The drugs were discovered hidden in the air filter under the seat of the motorcycle (Ba 39 Pa 4554) on the route to Hetauda from Birgunj, according to Rajesh Thapa, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Bara.

He said he found 11 pieces of Codivel 100 ml, 8 leaves of Nitrazepam, Nufin, Phenergan, and Diazepam needles, as well as 11 leaves of Nitrazepam, Nufin, Phenargon, and Diazepam needles. According to the Bara District Police Office, an inquiry into the narcotics case against them has been initiated.
