Kathmandu, February 17
The Civil Aviation Office Janakpurdham has informed that there will be a direct flight from Janakpurdham to Pokhara from Mahashivaratri on March 1.
The station manager of Buddha Air at Janakpurdham Bijay Kumar Singh informed that the early ticket booking had begun on Wednesday. In the beginning, the flight would be conducted thrice in a week and then as per passenger’s need, he added. He said that flights to Pokhara would be operated every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Some months back, Madhes Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut, during his visit to Pokhara at the invitation of Gandaki Chief Minister, had agreed in writing to start direct flights between the two tourist cities.
