The Nepali cricket team has suffered a setback before the start of the ICC T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A, which starts in Oman on February 18.
Nepali team’s main fast bowler Karan KC is going to lose the qualifier due to injury. Karan did not even play in the four-nation T20 series held in Oman on Monday.
Out of the 17 players in the Nepali team, 16 players played in the series but Karan did not play alone. Karan is not fully fit due to back problems. As Karan is unfit, he will return to Nepal and another bowler will be sent in his place, according to the CAN source.
