New global literature platform to support young online writers

China Literature, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore jointly launched a new online literature platform, the Global Author Incubation Project 2022, on Friday.

According to leading online literature platform China Literature, the project aims to provide creative guidance and policy support to online authors worldwide. A preliminary session of the project that took place in 2021 included training and lectures about trending content as well as possible business models.

The winners of the Webnovel Spirity Awards Spring 2021 (WSA 2021) were also announced during the session, with authors Elyon, XIETIAN and KazzenIX each receiving a Gold Award and a cash prize of $10,000. First launched in 2019 in Southeast Asia, WSA has been recognized as an important event in the booming online literature sector.
