A meeting of the parliamentary party of the main opposition party CPN (UML) is scheduled to be held today. The meeting convened for 11 a.m. today will discuss the impeachment registered against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana at the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
UML has already decided to oppose the impeachment motion filed by Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, and CPN (Unified Socialist) MPs against the Chief Justice.

UML has been claiming that it is trying to postpone the local elections by filing impeachment. On Sunday, 98 lawmakers from the ruling party filed an impeachment motion against Chief Justice JB Rana.
