Liverpool won by two goals from Diogo Jota

Kathmandu, February 11

Liverpool beat Leicester City 2-0 in the Premier League after Diogo Jota scored twice.
Jota scored one goal each in both halves of last night’s game at home to Anfield. Jota scored for Liverpool in the 34th and 87th minutes of the game.

Egypt’s Mohamed Salah has also been ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations by Liverpool.

Second-placed Liverpool has dropped nine points to top-placed Manchester City following the win. After the victory, Liverpool has added 51 points from 23 games.

City has 60 points from 24 games. Leicester is in 12th with 26 points from 21 games.

In another match, Arsenal, who were 10 players, beat the Wolves 1-0. Gabriel Magalhaes
scored for Arsenal in the 25th minute.

Arsenal were reduced to ten men after Gabriel Martineli was sent off in the 69th minute.
Arsenal is fifth with 39 points from 22 games. The Wolves are eighth with 34 points from 22 games.
