With the third wave of Corona descending in India, educational institutions in Delhi are open from today

Kathmandu, February 7

A third wave of corona virus is on the decline in neighboring India. The number of daily
infections has been steadily declining since the third wave reached its peak.

In the last 24 hours, 83 thousand 876 new infected people have been added in India. According to Indian media, 895 infected people died during the period. The number of active infected has also decreased to 1.18 million.

As the number of covid infections in India has been declining, restrictions have been relaxed. Government offices will be fully open from Monday. However, Minister Jitendra Singh has said that all the employees who come to the office should follow the protocol regarding Covid.

Similarly, educational institutions have been opened in the capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and
Bihar from today. Classes 9 to 12 will start in Delhi from Monday. However, classes from
nursery to class 8 will resume on February 14.

While conducting physical classes in schools and colleges, public health standards such as
maintaining social distance, use of mandatory masks and use of sanitizer should be fully
followed.

In addition, the duration of night curfew in Delhi has been reduced by one hour. The night
curfew will be from 11 pm to 5 am instead of 10 pm. Also, the offices can be opened at 100% capacity and the person riding alone in the car does not have to wear a mask.
