According to Shahi, the service has been launched with the objective of promoting adventure tourism in Karnali. “We have tried paragliding in Surkhet before. We could not operate regularly due to lack of skilled manpower. The geography and climate of Surkhet is ideal for paragliding. Emergency landing has also been arranged in case of any problem in wind speed.” he said.
