Preparations for National Assembly elections completed in Bagmati

The Election Commission has stated that all the necessary preparations have been completed at the Bagmati polling station for the National Assembly election. In the National Assembly, voting will be held from 9 am to 3 pm tomorrow for the 19 vacancies starting from Falgun 20. The commission has identified eight polling stations and 14 polling booths. The commission has stated that ballot papers have been sent to the offices of the election officials of all the states on Magh 7.

In that election, the members of the state assembly and the chief and deputy chief of the
municipality will cast their votes. The five parties in the ruling coalition have also formed an
alliance in the National Assembly elections. Similarly, the main opposition party CPN (UML) has fielded its candidate.

The Election Commission has stated that strict adherence to health standards has been
observed in the polling stations due to the high risk of corona epidemic. The commission has already made public the list of health criteria to be followed in the National Assembly elections.
