Share trading volume slowed down with the Nepse indicator

Kathmandu, January 25

The third day, stock market closed lower this week. The transaction amount has also decreased along with the Nepse indicator, which measures the share turnover on Tuesday.

The Nepse index has dropped by 5.92 points to 2,814.74 points. Earlier on Monday, the Nepse index had dropped by 100 points.

The share transaction amount also decreased by more than Rs 3 billion on Tuesday as
compared to Monday. A total of 97.84 million 651 lots of shares were traded and the
transaction amount was stopped at Rs. 5 Arba 39 crore 56 Lakh 72 thousand 627 rupees. Shares worth over Rs 8.5 billion were traded on Monday.

The share transaction amount also decreased by more than Rs 3 billion on Tuesday as
compared to Monday. A total of 97.84 million 651 lots of shares were traded and the
transaction amount was stopped at Rs. Shares worth over Rs 8.5 billion were traded on
Monday.

The second is Buddhabhumi Hydropower and the third is Pokhara Finance Company. The share price of Buddhabhumi has also risen by about 10 percent to Rs 421.10 while that of Pokhara Finance has risen by 8 percent to Rs 588.90.

Among the companies whose share price is declining are Gorkhaj Finance, Samata
Microfinance, Summit Microfinance and Chandagiri Hills.

Gorkhaj's share price fell 4.58 percent to Rs 800, Summit's share price fell 3 percent to Rs 1,218 and Samata also fell 3 percent to Rs 1,216. Chandagiri's share price fell by Rs 39 to Rs 1,388.
