Registration for National Identity Card has started in Kirtipur Municipality. The Department of National Identity Card and Registration has started registration for National Identity Card in Kirtipur Municipality from Tuesday.
Chief of Kirtipur Municipality Ramesh Maharjan said that 40 names would be registered daily in the token system. He also said that special priority would be given to the citizens who are in dire need of registration for national identity card.
The Kirtipur Municipality has requested the city dwellers to bring the original certificate of
Nepali citizenship for registration of National Identity Card. In case of non-disclosure of date of birth in the citizenship certificate, the municipality has invited the people to come for the registration of identity card along with the marriage registration certificate if the birth certificate is mentioned in the citizenship, if the address is different from the address.
