The Central Zoo in Jawalakhel has been closed for a week due to increasing number of
coronavirus infected people. The zoo, which was closed for a long time and reopened six
months ago, has been closed again for seven days.
Chief Rachna Shah informed that the zoo has been closed with effect from Sunday as per the direction of District Administration Office, Lalitpur. According to him, it will be brought back to operation after a week depending on the situation.
