Booster Dose Program of Verosel Vaccine Postponed in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, January 21

Booster dose vaccination program has been postponed in Kathmandu district. Shambhu Kafle, head of the health office, said that the booster dose program has been stopped for the time being due to lack of vaccine. However, in the case of Covishield, a booster dose vaccination campaign is being conducted.

”We did not have enough vaccine for the virus. After sending two to three hundred to all the hospitals and vaccination centers, it was over, ‘Kafle told news channels. People who take a booster dose of Verosel will have to wait a little longer. ‘

”A lot of people who take booster doses now have been vaccinated with verocell. We have not been able to manage it due to lack of vaccines,” said Kafle. Currently, 22 vaccination centers are vaccinating in Kathmandu district.
