Kathmandu, January 20
On the last day of the week, the Nepse index has increased by double digits. The market, which declined by double digits on Wednesday, rose by 32.96 points on Thursday and reached 2931.26.
Even in the rising market, the transaction amount has decreased by 250 million compared to the previous day. A total of 159,89,744 shares of 229 companies were traded in the secondary market today. Of the 6.2 billion shares bought and sold on Wednesday, the total transaction amount today is only 5.77 billion.
Of the 13 subgroups traded on Thursday, all except banking and mutual funds are green. Today, IME General Insurance Company is the most traded stock in the market. Today, the company’s share purchase and sale were more than 220 million.
The share price of Malungdakhola and Tehrathun Power Company had a positive circuit today.
In the overall market, investors of hydropower companies got high returns. ICFC Finance
Company’s share price fell 4 points today.
