India suspends international flights

All international flights out of India and from other countries to India have been postponed
until February 28 after the Covid-19 epidemic resumed.

India has suspended flights to reduce the risk of the rapidly spreading Corona, Indian aviation officials said.

According to a circular issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India, the ban will not apply to all cargo operations and flights that have been approved by the civil aviation authorities.

According to the latest decision, it has been decided to extend the International Commercial Passenger Service to and from India till 12 midnight on February 28.

However, flights operated under an agreement between the two countries under the Air Bowl arrangement will not be affected by the decision.

To curb the growing Covid epidemic, India suspended nationwide shutdowns and international and national flights in late March 2020. But almost two months later, domestic flights were resumed on May 25, 2020.
