At least 20 people, including a Huthi commander, have been killed in air strikes by Saudi-led coalition forces in Yemen.
At least 20 people were killed in a coalition airstrike in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, on Tuesday, TRT news agency reported.
The airstrikes also killed Huthi militant group’s air force general Abdullah Qasim al-Zulaid.
The Houthi-run Saba news agency also confirmed that Junaid, his wife and son had been killed in the Saudi airstrikes.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. military base in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Two Indians and a Pakistani national were killed in a drone strike in Abu Dhabi.
Huthi claimed responsibility for the attack, which struck three oil tankers at an oil depot in Abu Dhabi’s Musaffah area and at a construction site near Abu Dhabi airport. The UAE immediately warned of retaliation for the drone strike.
Lately, the UAE has been assisting the army fighting the Huthis in Yemen. Following the recent drone strikes in the UAE, the ongoing war in Yemen is expected to take a new turn.
