Vaccination card is mandatory when walking in public places from Magh 7

The government has decided to make vaccination card mandatory while walking in public
places from Magh 7. A meeting chaired by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday decided to make it mandatory to carry vaccine cards while walking in public places.

In the meeting, it was agreed to make various decisions and recommend to the concerned
ministry for the effective implementation of the recommendation made by the Covid 19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC). The CCMC has decided to make it mandatory to carry the vaccine card while walking in public places from Magh 7 onwards.

Discussions have also been held on how to give a booster dose against Covid-19 to the target group. The meeting decided to reopen the school for the purpose of vaccinating against covid from Magh 16 to 20, said Pradip Koirala, Chief of Disaster Management Division, Ministry of Home Affairs. At that time, the school will run a vaccination campaign.

Similarly, the meeting has also decided to conduct the examinations which are being conducted at the university level and have fixed date by adopting health security vigilance. The meeting also decided to direct the students with covid infection to take the exam by arranging a separate place. The circular will be issued by the concerned ministry to the universities.

The meeting also asked those traveling by air to make it mandatory to show the vaccine card at the time of ticketing. Similarly, the meeting has decided to ask the concerned body to suspend the issuance of national identity card and e-passport for the time being.
