On the occasion of Madhes Sacrifice Day, the Madhes state government has also given a public holiday today.
The state government, which had given leave yesterday, has also given public leave today on the occasion of Madhes Sacrifice Day.
Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Bharat Prasad Sah informed that the state
government has given a public holiday in the state on the occasion of Sacrifice Day.
The Madhes state government has been commemorating the day of Ramesh Mahato’s death in Lahan of Siraha during the Madhes movement as Madhes Sacrifice Day.
The state government is going to celebrate this year in the capital of Saptari today, Magh 5 with a special program. This year’s program includes a program to provide respect and financial support to the families of those martyred during the Madhes movement, said Minister Sah.
Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Upendra Yadav and other top leaders and
ministers of the state government have reached Rajbiraj for the program.
