All UML programs postponed

The CPN (UML) has postponed all kinds of public programs involving more than 25 members of the party and people’s organizations in the wake of the resurgence of the epidemic of Covid-19.

Secretary of the UML Central Office, Dr. Bhishma Raj Adhikari, has written to the party’s state and district chairpersons today urging them to operate subordinate party offices keeping in view the health protocol issued by the Government of Nepal on the third wave of Covid-19.

UML has also urged the party to organize internal meetings, gatherings and discussions with the necessary vigilance and local leaders, activists and people’s representatives to remain active in the service of the people by adopting necessary vigilance against the epidemic.

They have been impressed by the UML’s action plan to hold conventions in all the states within this month and general conventions of the people’s organizations by mid-Falgun. The district conventions that could not be held on Poush 23 have been postponed to about 20 district conventions.
