As the number of kidney patients is increasing day by day, a free dialysis center has been
brought into operation in Waling, Syangja. The center has been brought into operation with the initiative of Rotary Club of Waling and in collaboration with Gautam Buddha Community Heart Hospital.
Rotary International has spent about Rs 55 million to install eight dialysis machines, including a ventilator, said Rajendra Dumre, former president of the Rotary Club of Waling.
The problem of having to go to Pokhara Palpa will come to an end as soon as this service comes into operation. The patients have felt relief after receiving dialysis service in their own village.
