A meeting of the High-Level Political Coordination Committee is underway to make suggestions for running the government.
The meeting started at 10:15 am at the Prime Minister’s official residence (Baluwatar), said

Prachanda. Top leaders of the ruling party are preparing to suggest the government to fix the date of local elections in the participatory meeting. Also, issues related to corona control will be discussed.
The meeting of the Political Coordination Committee is scheduled for today after a meeting
between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Monday.
In the political coordination committee formed under the coordination of senior Congress
leader Ram Chandra Poudel to assist in running the government, Krishna Prasad Sitaula of the Nepali Congress, Prachanda and Narayan Kaji Shrestha of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Madhav Kumar Nepal of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and Upendra Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party are members of the committee. Rastriya Janamorcha chairperson Chitra Bahadur KC and Durga Poudel are also members of the committee. Chairman Nepal did not attend today’s meeting due to corona.
