Social worker Ujjwal Bikram Thapa has been congratulated in the middle of a program in
Sindhuli. The Federation of Indigenous Journalists of Nepal, Sindhuli, organized a program and congratulated him today.
On the initiative of Thapa, who hails from Sindhuli, his ancestral home, the government has
enacted an act to force free treatment, justice and employment for the victims of acid and
other burns. Thapa had also constructed and handed over 576 temporary tents to the quake victims.
Thapa has been helping acid victims for a long time. With the help of Thapa, children under the age of 18 have been provided free treatment at Susma Koirala Memorial Hospital.
