Ministe’s request to agitate against recruitment of railway employees

Kathmandu, January 16

Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development of Province 2 Ram Saroj Yadav has opposed the recruitment of employees of Nepal Railway Company. He claims that the staff should be recruited after taking the examination of the Public Service Commission.

The central government had appointed CPN-Unified Socialist Niranjan Jha as the general
manager of the railway company. The Jha-led railway company has recently hired 60 employees to operate the Jayanakpur-Janakpurdham-Kurtha train.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Minister Yadav, who is also the leader of the Congress
parliamentary party, said that there should be an agitation to force the recruitment of staff
through the Public Service Commission examination.
