Nepal has sent 14 tons of supplies including medicine, clothes and household items to
Afghanistan for the people of Afghanistan who are in humanitarian crisis.
A team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs left for Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, today
carrying the materials from a Himalayan Airlines plane. The aid was sent to help the people of Afghanistan, who are facing a major economic crisis. Narayan Khadka said.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Khadka said that a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would hand over the supplies to the UN delegation at the Kabul airport in the Afghan capital.
Himalayan Airlines has taken the materials free of cost to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The economic crisis has left more than one million children in Afghanistan malnourished.
Foreign Minister Khadka has said that Nepal’s reputation will be enhanced by providing
humanitarian assistance to the country facing crisis in South Asia.
