17 years after the incident, the murder accused was brought to Nepal from Saudi Arabia

Police have brought the accused from Udayapur to Nepal from Saudi Arabia 17 years after the incident. A team from the Kathmandu branch of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) brought the accused Govinda Magar to Saudi Arabia and brought him to Nepal on Wednesday night.

According to the police, the accused Magar had killed Man Bahadur Tamang of Udaipur on
Mangsir 13, 2061. Jit Bahadur Tamang had filed a complaint against him.

Police had written a letter to the Interpol Secretariat at the request of the Area Police Office, Rampurthoksila, after the arrest warrant was issued by the District Court, Udaipur. The General Secretariat had issued a red notice on 26 Magh 2077 to search for Magar.
