Assistant Rathi Narayan Silwal has been appointed as the spokesperson of the Nepal Army.
Silval has been the spokesperson of the Nepal Army since Thursday. Silval has informed through social media that he has assumed the responsibility of the spokesperson of the army from Thursday.
He said: “From today, I have formally assumed the responsibility of the spokesperson of the Nepal Army. I look forward to your continued support and constructive suggestions.”
Earlier, the spokesperson of the army was Santosh Ballabh Poudyal. Poudyal also informed that the responsibility of the spokesperson of the army has been handed over to Silwal from today. Poudyal also thanked all those who helped him directly and indirectly during his tenure.
