Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications of Province 2 Bharat Prasad Sah has said that the name of the province and the capital will be decided on Magh 3.
Speaking at a program organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of
State 2 in Janakpurdham Sub-metropolis-7 on Wednesday, Minister Sah said that a proposal regarding the name and capital of the state would be presented in the meeting of the state assembly on Magh 3. “Proposals for naming the province and the capital are being discussed.
As the capital of the state should be Janakpur, all the MPs are in one place except some MPs from Birgunj. Discussions are also going on regarding the name.” Minister Sah said.
He expressed confidence that the issue of name and capital of the state would be decided
anyway as there was moral pressure on the state assembly members of all parties to decide the name and capital of the state as there was little time left till the end of the term.
