New rules in Quebec Canada – Non-vaccination corona will have to pay tax

Kathmandu, January 13

The Canadian province of Quebec has introduced new rules requiring non-vaccinators to pay additional taxes.

Quebec has become the first province to make it a rule for non-vaccinators to pay extra taxes.

According to the head of the province of Quebec, Mansa Legalt, about 10 percent of people have not been vaccinated. Those who have not been vaccinated have increased the risk to other citizens and increased the pressure on the health network, and those who have not been vaccinated against corona have to pay extra taxes.

However, Legalt did not say when those who have not been vaccinated will have to pay a
certain percentage of tax. But he said the tax would be levied to encourage vaccinations,
according to the BBC.

About 50 per cent of Quebec patients hospitalized with covid infection have not been
vaccinated against corona.
