Vaccine card is now mandatory to watch the game in the stadium

Vaccination cards have been made mandatory for spectators going to the stadium to watch the game due to the high rate of coronavirus infection.

Due to which, the spectators going to watch the Martyrs’ Memorial A Division League taking place at Dasharath Stadium in the capital will have to show the vaccination card as proof that they have been vaccinated against Corona.

Similarly, spectators visiting the Prime Minister’s Cup T-20 National Cricket Tournament and other stadiums at the Tribhuvan Stadium in Kirtipur will also have to carry a mandatory vaccination card.

After entering the stadium, you have to stay in order to maintain social distance.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had made vaccination card mandatory for all public bodies from Magh 7 onwards. The administration has said that even if there is only a photo on the mobile phone.

Before Magh 7, spectators will be able to watch the game in the stadium without a vaccination card.

On Tuesday, all the three administration offices in the Kathmandu Valley issued a joint order as per the decision of the Home Ministry.

In this regard, the president of the All-Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Karmachhiring Sherpa has said through social media that vaccination card is now mandatory to watch football in the stadium.

Last year, Nepal Super League was played in a stadium without spectators. This season’s Martyrs’ Memorial A Division League has a significant attendance.

Up to 10,000 tickets have been sold in a single game of the ongoing league. Eight rounds of the league have been played so far. Now the ninth of the remaining five phases is starting from Friday.
