Kathmandu, January 12
The counting of votes has been postponed after the CPN-UML got 31 more votes than it lost in the Dailekh election.
The total number of UML voters in Dailekh was 721. In which 718 votes were cast. However, the counting was postponed after 748 votes were found during the counting, said UML central member Dharmaraj Regmi.
The counting of votes has been postponed after fake votes were found in the election process of leadership selection under the Seventh District Convention. It is said that further process will be taken forward only after the investigation of the Central Election Commission.
In UML Dailekh, Surya Bahadur Shahi and Rabindra Raj Sharma are vying for the chairmanship. It is said that efforts are being made to hold re-polling. Leaders are also questioning the efficiency of the constituency.
