Chief Minister of State-2 Lal Babu Raut has stressed on the need for state and local government to invest in cooperatives.
Inaugurating the 18th Annual General Meeting of Rastriya Sahakari Bank Limited in
Janakpurdham on Monday, Chief Minister Raut said that the people would benefit more if the state and local governments also invested in the capital.
Stating that the role of cooperatives is important in raising the income level and changing the lifestyle of the rural people, he expressed his commitment to help the government by bringing an act on cooperatives. He said that the state government would bring an act on cooperatives after discussing with cooperative experts.
