At least 13 people, including seven children, have been killed in a fire at an apartment in
Philadelphia, USA.
The fire department said several people were injured in the incident. The fire broke out in the building at 6 in the morning according to local time.
It is estimated that there were 26 people in the three-storey building at the time of the fire.
Eight of them have been rescued safely.
How the fire started is still in doubt. The incident is being investigated. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney says the worst days for the city of Philadelphia have been marked by massive human casualties, including children.
