More than one million corona infections have been confirmed in the United States in a single day.
According to Johns Hopkins University, which maintains the number of corona infections,
1,080,211 new infections were found in the United States on Monday.
Currently, a new wave of corona infection is spreading in the United States, Europe, various
countries in Africa as well as neighboring India. But no other country in the world has reported so many infections in a single day. The number of infections in the United States has more than doubled in the past year, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Although the transition is on the rise, President Joe Biden has been criticized for directing
schools to remain open. As the Corona wave continues to rise, U.S. officials say the transition to a new variant of the Corona, Omicron, has yet to reach its peak. Chief health adviser Anthony Fouchi said the graph of corona in the United States is growing rapidly and the epidemic is yet to reach its peak. That will come in a few weeks.
Despite the rapid rise in new infections in Corona, hospitalization and mortality rates are lower than in previous seizures, he said. Many who have been hospitalized and who have died have not been vaccinated against corona. Stating that there is enough vaccine against corona in the country at present, he called on all to get vaccinated.
