Kathmandu, January 5
Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has also called a meeting of his party leaders today.
Koirala called a meeting of party leaders at 2 pm today to discuss the latest political situation and review the 14th General Convention.
Leader close to Koirala Bal Bahadur KC confirmed that the meeting would be held at 2 pm but said that the venue was not certain.
Another leader close to Koirala, Chandra Bhandari, said the meeting would be held at Basera Hotel near Singha Durbar. According to Bhandari, the candidates for the 14th General Convention have been invited to the meeting.
A meeting of Koirala’s party leaders was also held on Tuesday. The meeting concluded that party president Sher Bahadur Deuba had gone ahead alone and did not accept himself as a force. Koirala was defeated by Deuba in the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.
