Almutairi calls off training for friendly against Mauritius

Kathmandu, January 3

A 34-member preliminary team has been announced for the closed training of the Nepali
national football team.

Head coach Abdullah Almutairi has called up 34 players for closed-door training for the friendly against Mauritius.

Nepal will play two friendly matches against Mauritius at Dasharath Stadium. The friendly
matches will be played on January 29 and February 1.

Among the players in the team are Vishal Shrestha, Deep Karki, Kiran Kumar Limbu, Satrughan Chaudhary, Tikendra Thapa, Ashish Lama, Ayush Ghalan, Akash Budhamgar, Ananta Tamang, Anjan Bista, Arik Bista, Bimal Ghartimagar and Vishal Rai.

Similarly, Darshan Gurung, Devendra Tamang, Dinesh Hemjan, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Gautam
Shrestha, Kamal Thapa, Kshitij Ranta Chunju, Anish Dangi, Navin Gurung, Nitis Thapa, Pujan Uparkoti, Santosh Tamang, Subash Gurung, Sudip Gurung, Sujal Shrestha, Suman Aryal, Suman Lama, Sunil Bal, Suraj Jew Thakuri, Sushil Rai and Tej Tamang.
