Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Nepal Airlines (NAC) have reached an agreement on air service discounts. The agreement was signed by NEA Executive Director Kulman Ghising and Airlines Executive Chairman Yuvraj Ghimire on Monday.
According to the agreement, NEA employees and their families will get 15 percent discount on tickets and 510 percent discount on freight while traveling through NAC.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Ale said that NEA would now use the airline corporation and help it to lift the sinking. Secretary Maheshwar Neupane mentioned that NAC should be raised like Electricity Authority.
NEA Executive Director Ghising expressed his commitment to use the airline corporation in
official work as much as possible. NAC Captain Bijay Lama said that he was impressed by
Kulman and asked him to help in the reform of the corporation.
