Meeting between the leaders of the coalition to decide the participation in the National Assembly elections

Discussions are underway within the ruling coalition for the National Assembly elections.
Discussions are underway among the top leaders of the alliance to form an alliance in the
National Assembly after 10 am at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The ruling coalition parties are preparing to go to the National Assembly elections by forming an alliance with Congress, Maoists and Unified Socialists.

Twenty members of the National Assembly who have completed their four-year term from next March are leaving. Eight MPs from UML, four from UCPN (Maoist) Center, four from CPN- Unified Socialist Party, three from NC and one nominated MP are on leave.

Elections are being held in all the seven states on Magh 12 from 9 am to 3 pm for 19 seats
except for one seat to be nominated by the President. For that, the Congress and the Maoists, the Unified Socialists and the Janata Samajwadi Party are preparing to share the seats in the National Assembly.

The ruling coalition is preparing to move forward with a strategy to win all 19 seats.
