South Africa’s parliament building caught fire

Kathmandu, January 2

South Africa’s parliament building has caught fire.

According to the AFP news agency, the fire broke out in the Parliament building in Cape Town on Sunday morning.

It is reported that the fire started from the roof of the parliament building has spread to other parts and efforts are being made to control it.

Dozens of firefighters have arrived to put out the blaze.

It was not immediately clear how the fire started. The Parliament House in Cape Town is
accompanied by an old building built in 1884 and a new one built in the 1920s and 1980s.
