Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has proposed to link the party with production.
Presenting an ideological political report at the closed session of the CPN-Maoist Central
General Convention on Monday, he proposed to link the party with production and make the party leaders and cadres do manual labor.
Prachanda proposes that every leader and cadre of the party should do manual labor for at
least 15 days in a year. He has proposed that the record be kept by the party committee and sent to the upper committee.
He has also proposed to employ 50 youths in agriculture at the local level where the Maoists have won the leadership. Similarly, the Maoists have proposed to employ 50 youths in agriculture even at the local level where the leadership has not been won but the organization has been strengthened.
Prachanda has proposed to employ up to 100 youths in agriculture, animal husbandry and dairy production in the Maoist-led state.
Similarly, Prachanda has mentioned in his report that he will take initiative to make programs related to agriculture and labor at the center as well.
